Federer's Record breaking Win

Today's grueling five-set victory over Andy Roddick, secured Roger Federer a place in the history books as the most winningest Men's tennis player ever. Today's win was Federer's 15th Grand Slam title, putting him ahead of the former record holder Pete Sampras, who was in the audience to see Federer's victory. This was also the longest game in Wimbledon history, clocking in at an exhausting 4 hours and 16 minutes. The epic 5 set battle culminated in a final set that had a score of 16-14 (Geesh!!) & ended with a Roddick forehand going long.

I used to play tennis, back in the day. I was okay, not great, but not bad. Haven't played in many many years. I also used to watch a lot of tennis. This was back in the day of Ivan Llendl, Pat Cash, Stefan Edberg, Martina Navratilova, Monica Seles etc. I haven't watched it in a while. All the grunting and off court dramarama made it kind of annoying for me to watch.
But most definitely credit here credit is due. Congrats to Roger Federer - the most winningest Tennis Player in the history of the world! I think it is gonna be quite a few years before anyone catches up to him! The below photo is completely unrelated to today's performance - but, um... shirtless tennis players are never a bad thing! Yummy.
